The construction of a 210-meter bridge on Kaushalya Dam in Panchkula is expected to bring significant relief to over 50,000 residents and travelers who face challenges due to the existing road conditions. This new bridge will enhance connectivity and reduce travel time, making it easier for people to move between villages and nearby sectors. With an investment of ₹20 crore, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) has taken steps to improve the infrastructure by constructing a one-kilometer-long road connecting the bridge to the highway. The completion of this bridge will also benefit tourists visiting the Kaushalya Dam, as the road will be elevated to reduce the risk of water overflow into residential areas. The road will be equipped with attractive lighting, providing a scenic and safe route for visitors at night. This project will not only make daily commutes more convenient but will also foster tourism, economic growth, and development in the surrounding areas, including areas like Himshikha, Bhagwanpur, and newly developing sectors. This is expected to further increase the demand for properties in these areas as accessibility improves. Source : Amar Ujala
