Yeida Finalises Blueprint for New Agra Urban Centre: A Modern Hub of Tourism, Heritage, and Industry

                The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has unveiled the blueprint for the New Agra Urban Centre, a transformative project along the Yamuna Expressway. 
Spanning 105,000 hectares across 60 villages, this ambitious initiative aims to urbanise agricultural land into a thriving hub of tourism, heritage, industry, and environment. The plan 
includes eco-friendly industrial units, theme parks inspired by international attractions, green belts, and modern transport systems, all designed to promote environmental sustainability and 
enhance connectivity. With a focus on preserving Agra’s rich historical legacy, including the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri, New Agra is set to become a vibrant, modern city that balances 
development with heritage conservation.
