Ciena Secures 1.35 Lakh Sq Ft Lease in Gurugram’s TRIL Tower, Boosting Growth

                Ciena, a US networking systems, services and 
software company, has leased 135,000 square 
feet of office space in Gurugram's TRIL Tower 
by Tata Realty, people aware of the 
development said.
"A lot of space that was partof the SEZ is 
getting denotified now, opening up newer areas 
for corporations," one of them said. "Tata also 
has a large portfolio under SEZ and is getting it 
denotified."
The sources did not share the rental and other 
details of the lease deal.

The NYSE-listed Ciena and TRIL did not 
respond to ET's emailedqueries until press 
time Thursday.
The National Capital Region (NCR) witnessed a 
gross leasing volume of 3.01 million sq ft in 
the April-June quarter, similar to the volume 
recorded in the previous quarter but a 16% dip 
from the year-ago period, according to 
Cushman & Wakefield.
